As an Application Engineer Electronics & Control within our Application division you will play a key role in supporting the application team and advanced clients with problem resolution and root cause analysis of issues or problems related to amplified controllers processors and format converters. Additionally you will be a key interface point to the Product Management and R&D teams to provide expert application insight as well as feature requests/bugfixes coming back from the field.
Responsibilities:
Review reports from the team of Application Engineers and be a point of escalation for them to help debug complex or intermittent problems with electronic components.
Conduct validation tests on electronic firmware and software developments to verify their operation in various situations.
Perform specific tests as needed including product interoperability network topologies protocol coexistence etc.
Identify and resolve the causes of technical problems using an analytical approach to determine the source of issues and develop effective solutions.
Write detailed reports on test results and resolved technical issues.
Provide expert advice to our international clients and partners on our electronic products and their implementation.
Provide highlevel technical support on incidents working to resolve issues quickly and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
Advanced degree in audiovisual electronics or computer science.
Previous experience in a similar role in the proaudio industry.
Strong background with audio networking.
Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
Strong sense of service and ability to work in a team.
Bilingual English to communicate effectively with our international clients and partners.
