Are you a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for designing and delivering innovative solutions We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a thriving Engineering team near Canterbury.
This role involves developing custom interconnection solutions for critical sectors such as aerospace medical defense and industrial markets. Youll be part of a dedicated team committed to ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting product quality and performance goals while helping to enhance our market position.
The MechanicalDesign Engineers responsibilities include:
- Work with sales on new engineering opportunities and assess feasibility
- Oversee the entire NPI lifecycle from concept to manufacturing
- Create NPI quotes and contribute to strategic product planning
- Prepare manufacturing specs technical drawings and manage ERP documentation
- Lead technical discussions to align project requirements
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and safety policies
The Mechanical Design Engineerseducation experience and skills:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in new product development project management and smallscale manufacturing operations
- Proficiency with CAD models project management tools and techniques; strong understanding of technical drawings for manufacturing
- Excellent adaptability customer focus and collaboration skills
