We are seeking a talented individual to join our Casualty Broking team at Marsh Commercial. This role will be based in the London office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The role: London Market Casualty Broker
We are seeking an experienced London Market Broker with a strong background in corporate or commercial insurance ideally with expertise in Casualty/Liability whether London Market or Lloyds. This role is perfect for someone who has previously worked in a Handler/Broker capacity and is looking to join a wellestablished marketleading insurance broker.
In this position you will manage your own client portfolio and oversee daily operations including renewals midterm adjustments negotiations with insurers and addressing client inquiries.
We will rely on you to:
- Assesses risk expertise and knowledge of industry and carriers to help develop placement solutions that meet client needs.
- Implements the Placement strategy to achieve growth goals and provide exceptional client service.
- Assists in the management of submitting coverage specifications and obtain quotes from carriers based upon the assist advise and assume transaction model.
- Improves relationships with carriers underwriters and client team to provide cohesive client service.
- Manage all daytoday queries renewals amendments and midterm adjustments.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients prospects client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
- Offer technical support for complex or highpriority relationships when needed to ensure relationship satisfaction and maintain a mutual internal and external understanding.
- Serve as a client contact for daytoday needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
- Maintains a detailed understanding of changing market condition and understands and complies with all compliance professional and transparency standards to better serve clients
What you need to have:
- Previous experience within a similar role within commercial or corporate insurance ideally including Casualty Liability or Property.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence to advise and negotiate.
- The ability to build manage and develop relationships.
