Job Summary:
A position is available in the Neural Engineering Core of the NeuroTechnology Center. The Neural Engineering Core provides a range of engineering support to research programs in neuroscience and other fields at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. We seek an individual with a background in computer science or engineering and particularly with experience in cloud computing software development data analysis and data management to lead and assist on multiple projects. The employee will work with multiple members of the Core and report to Gidon Felsen (Director NTC Neural Engineering Core and Professor Department of Physiology and Biophysics). This individual will interact with faculty and staff from multiple units. Eagerness and ability to quickly learn new concepts and to work well within multiple teams are highly important.
Key Responsibilities:
50 Cloud Computing and Research:
20 Data analysis: Works in collaboration with researchers and independently to design and implement data analysis for projects
20 Software and hardware analysis and support:
10 Operational support: Estimates and tracks time and costs and supports invoicing for projects

Work Location:
Onsite this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora Colorado. The role may allow for limited remote work after an orientation period.

The above salary range or hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
