Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Associate or Experienced Quality Engineers (Level 2 or 3 to support the 787 Program Quality Engineering Team based out of North Charleston South Carolina on 1st Shift!

As a Quality Engineer you will dive deep into the intricacies of our engineering documentation assessing and enhancing how we translate complex requirements into clear actionable instructions for our production teammates. Your role will be both challenging and rewarding as you will engage directly with the build process through onthefloor observations ensuring that quality is not just a goal but a culture. You will also be a part of our safety and quality transformation through the of our Comprehensive Safety and Quality Plan. Position Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering documentation to determine process capability and conformance
• Perform data analysis of defect trends and present findings and recommendations
• Lead projects to identify root cause and eliminate defects and rework
• Execute quality build plan changes
• Recommend corrective actions to address nonconformances.
• Perform engineering change review and verification
• Continuous improvement of quality engineering processes

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering
• 3 years experience in Aerospace Manufacturing Quality or another regulated industry
• 3 years of experience in summarizing and/or reviewing documentation to develop informational or technical materials
• 3 years experience collecting organizing and analyzing data summarizing findings and developing conclusions
• 3 years experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) or other similar rigorous problem/analysis/resolution processes
• 3 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved crossfunctional or crossbusiness unit teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• 5 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ABET accredited engineering degree
• Experience working in a Quality Engineering or other production engineering job role
• Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
• Experience with analytics tools & software
• Proactive and collaborative mindset with an emphasis on positive relationships
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written

Typical Education & Experience

Associate Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard

Experienced Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD Master3 years related work experience). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard
