- per annum (pro rata for part time)
- Retention payment of 3500 per annum (pro rata for part time)

Your role and responsibilities
- provide regular supervision and support to a team of assessing and supervising social workers
- support with the recruitment of foster carers and adopters
- take day to day management oversight of fostering Stage one FormF and transferring assessments including foster carers expenses annual reviews allegations etc.
- work in collaboration and contribute to service delivery to ensure that Fostering FormFs and annual reviews are completed to a high standard
- work alongside other Consultant Social Workers within the fostering service you will deputise for the Practice Manager in their absence
- support the Practice Manager with relevant innovation projects in order to develop the service
- facilitate training for prospective foster carers.
You will need
- a relevant social work qualification and Social Work England registration is essential
- knowledge of developmental trauma and knowledge of relevant theories which apply
- knowledge of the recruitment and assessment of foster carers is desirable but not essential.

- we are the Recruitment Assessment & Matching Team (RAM) in Fostering and Adoption Stage 1 assessment
- we provide a countywide service to recruit assess and prepare prospective foster carers and adopters as well as family find for permanence within Fostering for
- Children in Care
- we have a team of skilled social workers who undertake assessments to recruit and assess the best foster carers and adopters to help our children to be the best that they can be
- the team supports prospective Foster Carers from initial enquiry through to approval at Fostering Panel.For Adoption the team support from Initial enquiry through to the end of Stage 1 assessments.
