Job Description

- Perform routine trailer maintenance including fluid exchanges oil changes winterization etc.
- Visual safety and courtesy inspections
- Mounting balancing and rotating tires
- Replacing batteries
- Changing bulbs and trailer plugs
- Service trailer bearings brakes and suspension systems
- Diagnose and repair appliances air conditioning and heating systems awnings windows doors electronics and radios generators water tanks and systems plumbing and electrical systems.
- Repair and upgrade trailer jacks and supports
- Repair and/or add ramps hay pods steps awnings generators and other accessories
- Maintaining and cleaning shop areas
- Other shop maintenance items as needed
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detailoriented
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
- Valid drivers license
- Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time.
- Communicate effectively in person by telephone or by using telecommunications equipment.
- Ability to enter and locate information on computer.
- Ability to visually verify information often in small print.
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to lift heavy objects including wheels and tires
- Shop hours are Monday Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- You are expected to show up at least 15 minutes before the start of the shift
- This position does not require working Saturdays but if a Saturday schedule is assigned the RV technician will be given one day off during the week to keep the 5 day per week work schedule to promote worklife balance
- Employees regularly scheduled for 5day workweeks to promote worklife balance.
- Six paid holidays per year.
- Five paid vacation days per year after one year of employment and ten paid vacation days per year after two years of employment.
- Compensation provided to employees who attend eligible afterhours training/courses/certifications.
