The mandate of Facility Operations is to operate and maintain all City facilities and Citymanaged buildings which represents approximately 900 buildings and includes police fire libraries child care paramedic posts recreation culture public works City Hall and other administrative buildings longterm care facilities and facility outdoor property. The Facility Operations units deliver facility management and maintenance services within assigned geographic and/or specialty areas.
You are responsible for performing duties associated with the operation and maintenance of all City facilities including but not limited to; minor maintenance and carpentry tasks painting grounds maintenance snow removal basic repair duties for facilities equipment and general housekeeping tasks while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and customer service. You may be responsible to work rotational shifts including days evenings and weekends.
Completion of Grade 10
