What are we looking for
The StaffIndustrial Hygienistis responsible for supporting the Environmental department in all services including asbestos surveys leadbased paint survey UST/LUST assessments site remediation and more. This person will complete fieldwork as well as work on technical reports and proposals. This position will work out of town occasionally for 23 days/month.
Shift/Schedule:Monday Friday 8:00AM5:00PM (may vary)
What youll do:
- Supportthe department on all environmental services including asbestos surveys leadbased paint surveys site remediation Indoor Environmental Quality Projects and/or field observation documentation
- Assist in the development of work scope report preparation client and subcontractor coordination and assessment of proper response actions
- Ability to communicate with clients and regulatory agencies to keep projects moving and on schedule
- Grow the Industrial Hygiene Service Line
- Operates testing equipment and conducts testingand provides assessment of data through reporting
- Author technical reports and proposals
- Provide support planning monitoring and controlling project budgets and building solid relationships with clients and team members

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- BS in Environmental Science Engineering Geology or related field
- 1 years of previous experience in asbestos leadbased paint and mold inspecting sampling and assessment
- OSHA 40hour HAZWOPER
- Must be detailoriented and a team player with excellent communication analytical and organization as well as time and budget management skills
- Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to ones discipline
- Must be able to climb ladders and lift move push and pull items with weights in excess of 30 pounds multiple times as needed to complete project requirements
- Valid Drivers License and reliable driving recordrequired
- Must be able to work off shifts and overtime and willing to work out of town occasionally for 23 days/month (required).
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
- EPA/AHERA Asbestos Inspector Certification
- Asbestos Supervisor Lead experience
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge of HVAC equipment and systems environmental remediation and consulting
- Knowledge of IH and practical environmental concepts principles and practices
