Position Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Perform physical examinations diagnostic tests and provide medical treatments. Handle a range of cases from preventive care to advanced procedures including surgery and dentistry.
- Client Communication: Build lasting relationships with clients by explaining diagnoses treatment plans and providing education on pet health and preventive care.
- Surgical & Dental Procedures: Perform surgeries including routine spays neuters and dental cleanings while ensuring a high standard of care and patient safety.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the veterinary team sharing knowledge and ensuring the highest standard of patient care.
Ideal Candidate:
- DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California.
- Proficient in small animal medicine including surgery dentistry and preventive care.
- Strong communication skills both with clients and team members.
- Passionate about veterinary medicine and eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment.
