We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Healthy Kids at Play in Werribee VIC. As an Occupational Therapist you will be responsible for assessing diagnosing and treating children with various developmental and physical challenges. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement therapy programs that enhance childrens motor sensory and cognitive abilities improving their daily lives.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate childrens motor skills sensory processing abilities and cognitive function
Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings
Implement therapy interventions to support children in achieving their developmental goals
Collaborate with parents caregivers and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic coordinated care
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress treatment plans and outcomes
Assist in designing and modifying assistive devices and environmental adaptations
Educate and train families and caregivers on strategies to support childrens therapeutic progress
Participate in interdisciplinary clinical teams and contribute to research initiatives
Ensure accurate and uptodate medical records and documentation
Skills:
Strong communication skills with children families and team members
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative multidisciplinary team setting
Knowledge of evidencebased occupational therapy practices
Excellent problemsolving and critical thinking abilities
Compassion and empathy towards children with special needs
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Current AHPRA registration required
Experience working with children with developmental delays or disabilities is preferred but not required for entrylevel positions

Salary Range: $75000 to $100000 per annum (depending on experience)
