Must be available Friday Saturday and holidays (Additional shifts when required)

We are seeking seasonal Mobile Security Guards for the Winnipeg area

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site providing for the security and safety of client property assets and personnel.
Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel visitors and premises.
Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions hazards unlocked doors security violations blocked entrances and exits mechanical problems and unauthorized persons.
Satisfies client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client property and assets.
Monitors intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software.
Uses computer systems and software to monitor sites and complete basic trainings.
Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents emergencies or security investigations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Province of Manitoba Issued Security Officers license
Minimum 21 years old
Class 5 license of higher. with fair knowledge of the city Minimum of 2 years with a Canadian Drivers License
The ability to work unsupervised comfortable working at night alone in unfamiliar areas of the city in higher risk situations in a variety of environments outdoor and terrain
Must be physically fit to patrol over 12 hours per shift foot and driving
Cannot be barred or removed from any Securitas Site
Must be available and must pass the interview with the Mobile Manager
First Aid/CPR certification an asset
Must provide drivers abstract with no serious infractions or license suspensions on record
Must be available for all necessary training shifts at various start and end times
