Contracts Manager Housing Developer
Location:North Devon
About Our Client:
We are delighted to be partnering with a prestigious housing developer renowned for delivering highquality residential projects. With a robust portfolio and a commitment to excellence our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Contracts Manager to join their team. This role will be instrumental in overseeing three key sites in Devon totalling 220units.
Role Overview:
As the Contracts Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our clients ambitious housing projects. You will oversee all contractual aspects of the construction process ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:Oversee the management of three residential development sites in Birmingham ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
- Contract Administration:Manage all contractrelated documentation negotiations and agreements.
- Cost Control:Monitor project budgets and costs implementing measures to maintain financial efficiency.
- Quality Assurance:Ensure all developments meet the highest standards of quality adhering to regulatory and client specifications.
- Team Leadership:Lead and mentor site managers and other team members fostering a collaborative and highperformance culture.
- Risk Management:Identify and mitigate potential risks ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Maintain strong relationships with clients subcontractors and suppliers ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience:A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within the housing development sector preferably with a PLC developer.
- Qualifications:Relevant qualifications in construction management civil engineering or a related field.
- Skills:Strong leadership negotiation and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge:Indepth understanding of contract law construction processes and health & safety regulations.
- Attributes:Detailoriented proactive and able to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
