About Fam (previously FamPay)
Fam is Indias first payments app for everyone above 11. FamApp helps make online and offline payments through UPI and FamCard. We are on a mission to raise a new financially aware generation and drive 250 million youngest users in India to kickstart their financial journey super early in their life.
Founded in 2019 by IIT Roorkee alumni Fam is backed by some of the most respected investors around the world like Elevation Capital YCombinator Peak XV (Sequoia Capital) India Venture Highway Global Founders Capital and the likes of Kunal Shah Amrish Rao as angel investors.
About this Role

We are looking for builders of the 1st order. You should get a rush from creating things from scratch and take pleasure in watching users try to tear it apart through sheer volume and strange unthinkable use cases. On the Job
- Code & Documentation: Craft clean manageable code and maintain proper documentation
- Create & Deploy the applications: Create test and deploy the applications on production servers
- On Call: Participate in our oncall rotation triage & address reliability issues that come up in production
- New technologies & Frameworks: Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies and frameworks to maximize development efficiency
Musthaves (Min. qualifications)
- Experience of minimum 1 year to 5 years in developing complex server side components
- B.Tech in Computer Science (or equivalent) is preferred
- Strong programming expertise in Python or Golang
- Good understanding of relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
Good to have
- Exposure to Cloud Platforms like AWS (preferred) Azure or Google Cloud
- Experience with Unix command line
