About the role

We are seeking a skilled Lineworker to join our team on a 10:4 roster. In this role you will contribute to the construction installation and maintenance of our clients distribution electricity networks to ensure the integrity of the network is maintained in a safe reliable and affordable manner.

Key Responsibilities include

• Study and interpret technical drawings and network line diagrams
• Construction and maintenance on the electricity distribution networks following company policies quality systems HSE procedures and statutory requirements.
• Respond to emergencies on both high and low voltage distribution assets

About You

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and handson experience with both overhead and underground line networks along with knowledge of industry best practices.

• Current QLD Lineworker Electrical Licence
• Hot Stick Glove & Barrier qualifications (highly desirable)
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle preferred)
• OHS Construction Induction card (White/Blue card)
• There will be a requirement to travel within the state including overnight stays and work outdoors in various weather conditions
