Inviting applications for the role of Consultant QA Functional Tester
In this role you will be responsible for coding testing and delivering high quality deliverables and should be willing to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities
Database testing using SQL preferably using SQL Server Management Studio for MSSQL server
An attitude to debug issues and provide solutions to the issues raised while testing and having a Can do attitude with an eye for Quality
Mindset to be always tuned to collaboration across scrum teams and cross functional teams
Aware of latest trending best practices tools techniques tips and tricks in automation testing
Creation and of automation testing strategies and framework
Automation initiatives to reduce functional defects and uncover performance problems early well before code is released into production
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
BE/B Tech/MCA
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Experience of working as functional QA
Handson experience in UI functional technologies Playwright Cypress
Good understanding of Software Testing & Defect Life Cycle
Good understanding of QA processes executions & reporting
Ability to understand and analyse requirements.
Ability to design user stories and define acceptance criteria.
Handson experience to troubleshoot/investigate environment issues.
Handson experience working with defect tracking using tools like Jira ALM and continuous integration systems.
Understanding of capital markets electronic trading order flow and FIX protocol
Understanding of Agile methodologies.
A quick learner being able to adapt to a fastpaced heterogeneous environment and acquire necessary knowledge.
Understanding of KDB technology
Basic knowledge of Unix environments
