Do you have a passion for making a difference in someones life Are you goal driven Then the Career Advisor position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic and teamoriented individual to join our spirited team.
As the Career Advisor you will assist in career planning and employment referrals. You will provide excellent customercentered services designed to enhance and reengage job seekers into the workforce while working closely with the Business Services Team to ensure that sustainable career opportunities are available for all job seekers.
Responsibilities
Provide information about CareerLink services and the services of partner agencies and organizations to jobseekers
Maintain a caseload of 5075 WIOA program participants
Administer suitability assessments for individuals pursuing training opportunities
Represent EDSI on various committees and workgroups as assigned
Additional tasks may be required to ensure excellent service delivery
Qualifications
Experience providing excellent service to jobseekers and employers
Experience working with economicallydisadvantaged populations
Ability to prioritize tasks and document all aspects of services provided
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
A valid drivers license and clean driving record required
