The Position:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Mobile Engineer to join our Developer Hub in Chennai India. As a Senior Mobile Engineer at Subitup you will design develop and maintain cuttingedge mobile applications that deliver seamless user experiences. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to build robust highperformance apps for both iOS and Android platforms. You will mentor research guide others and strive to do better with every iteration. A big picture understanding and attention to detail is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobile Application Development:
- Design develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Implement userfriendly interfaces and ensure optimal performance across devices.
- Write clean maintainable and reusable code following best practices.
- Collaboration:
- Mentor share new technologies explain and teach other engineers.
- Work closely with designers product managers and backend engineers to deliver highquality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews share knowledge and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Optimization & Testing:
- Optimize mobile applications for performance scalability and responsiveness.
- Perform thorough testing of mobile apps including functional usability and regression testing.
- Innovation:
- Stay uptodate with the latest mobile technologies trends and frameworks.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance user experiences.
- Integration:
- Integrate mobile applications with backend services APIs and thirdparty tools.
- Ensure seamless data synchronization and offline functionality.
Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5 years of professional experience in mobile app development.
- Proven track record of building and deploying mobile applications on iOS and Android.
- Technical Skills:
- Mobile Frameworks: Proficiency in React Native for iOS and Android.
- APIs: Experience with RESTful and Axios for API integration.
- State Management: Familiarity with Redux.
- Testing: Knowledge of mobile app testing using Jest.
- Development Tools: Proficiency in version control (Git) CI/CD pipelines and app store deployment processes.
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with Firebase AWS Amplify or similar platforms is a plus.
