Description

Adjunct Professor of Culture

The Department of English Communication Culture and Art at Western New England University invites applications to fill an opening for an Adjunct Professor of Cultures in the fall 2025 semester.
The department seeks a candidate to teach at least one section of a course on Magyar culture. Some flexibility in course day(s) and time(s) may be negotiable. The ideal candidate will have proof of scholarship related to this region experience teaching undergraduate students in an inperson online or hybrid format and a demonstrable dedication to student success.
The successful candidate will also need to craft or revise a syllabus that satisfies the learning objectives associated with the universitys general university requirements which will come into effect beginning with the 202526 academic year.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have at minimum a Masters degree in the Humanities or the Social Sciences and/or at least five years of experience in teaching at the postsecondary level. Candidates who will contribute to diversity on campus in all its forms are especially welcome to apply.
