What you will do and achieve

As a Software Engineer CS at Glean you will play a critical role in building out features and solutions for longterm stability and lastmile delight to our customers.

Work closely with crossfunctional teams including development Solution Architects and CSM teams to implement solutions and enhance the existing system. Your expertise will help us maintain a high standard of service for our customers.

You would be expected to write wellthoughtout design documents and build and maintain robust highquality and welltested code across various languages

Mentor more junior engineers or learn from battletested ones

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain highquality software applications and libraries.
• Develop a strong understanding of our product and engineering architecture and design and implement scalable solutions capable of handling and processing largescale data sources efficiently for customer use cases.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features and connectors to help move deals ahead.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve software quality through process improvements automation and system optimizations to enhance product performance and customer experience.
• Train and mentor junior engineers fostering a collaborative and knowledgesharing environment.
  
  

Who you are

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in a software development role preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies including Agile and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java Go or TypeScript along with experience in troubleshooting software applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure) and related services.
• Experience with database management and query languages (SQL NoSQL).
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a focus on delivering highquality results.
• Strong communication skills capable of working with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Key knowledge and skills

• Thrive in a customerfocused tightnit and crossfunctional environment being a team player and willing to take on whatever is most impactful for the company is a must
• A proactive and positive attitude to lead learn troubleshoot and take ownership of both small tasks and large features
• Strong coding skills (for example in Go/Python/Java/C etc) with an emphasis on designing for reliability and scale and writing welltested components
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot software issues effectively.
• Familiarity with cloudnative development practices in GCP/AWS/Azure is a plus
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices for efficient software lifecycle management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration between customers and technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
