Posting Summary
The Department of Obstetrics Gynecology and Reproductive Health at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School NJMS is seeking a board certified academic specialist in gynecologic oncology to lead the Gynecologic Oncology Division for the department. Academic appointment will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.The faculty is highly involved in the education of residents medical students health related professionals and other ancillary personnel in the Department. In partnership with the Chair of the Department of OB/ GYN the Division Director will be responsible for 1 Faculty development; Budgeting and productivity oversight; 2 Support of research interests in the Division; 3 Support of education in the Division; 4 Development and maintenance of policies QA protocols and guidelines for ambulatory care that meet the goals of the department as well as hospital regulatory and quality requirements; 5 Take a lead in the development of process improvement projects to meet quality goals; 6 Development and fostering of a patientcentered approach to care that optimizes the patient experience while enhancing professional development; 7 Creating new ways of delivering care that maximize health outcomes by enhancing access to high quality care; 8 Integrating the OB/ GYN gynecologic division into the larger mission and system of care of Rutgers New Jersey Medical School University Hospital (NJs only public hospital) and other hospital partners in the Barnabas Healthcare System.
