Responsibilities

Your Role:

As a Production Planner you will be responsible for providing the daily production schedules for the manufacturing processes in our facility so that we can meet our customers needs and requirements.

You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!

  • Planning scheduling and coordinating production for the manufacturing lines based on daily MRP updated information.
  • Review any changes/additions/deletions for customer orders as well as determine component requirements.
  • Evaluate raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production.
  • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
  • Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across product lines.
  • Report on the production status and any production issues to upper management.
  • Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and fix problems related to Shop Order accuracy and production reporting issues.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 to 4years of relatedprofessional and progressive experience in production planningin anoperations facility environment.
  • Math and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in SAP.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality control.
  • Technical skills using material requirements planning and scheduling software.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of employees.
  • Organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Deadline driven.
  • Coaching skills with the ability to motivate employees.

Icing on the cake:

  • Certification in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM).
  • Certification in Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
  • 2 4year degree.
