Your new team Faculty of Medicine Dentistry and Health Sciences
The Faculty of Medicine Dentistry & Health Sciences is made up of 6 schools. It has an enviable research record and is the University of Melbournes largest faculty in terms of management of financial resources employment of academic and professional staff teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate (including research higher degree) students and the conduct of basic and applied research. The Facultys annual revenue is approximately $750m with approximately $400m income related to research activities. The Faculty has a student teaching load in excess of 8500 equivalent fulltime students including approximately 1500 research higher degree students. The Faculty has approximately 3000 staff comprising 800 professional staff and 2200 research and teaching staff (plus approximately 4000 honorary staff).
