About the Role:
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Data Analytics Data Scientist applies machine learning and artificial intelligence to solve complex business challenges translating cuttingedge research into practical impactful solutions. This role demands a proactive approach to problemsolving the ability to develop solutions for realworld challenges and the skill to convey technical insights effectively to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate Advanced Research and Modeling Insights:Translate complex modeldriven findings into actionable insights for technical and nontechnical audiences using storytelling and visualization to clarify sophisticated data science concepts.
- Lead and Execute Data Science Research: Direct and conduct applied research on complex data science problems utilizing statistical modeling machine learning and deep learning techniques to develop innovative solutions. Drive hypothesis generation model selection and validation to ensure robustness and relevance of findings.
- Advance Data Science and Modeling Expertise in a FastPaced Setting:Stay at the forefront of emerging research and algorithmic techniques applying the latest advances in machine learning natural language processing and statistical modeling to solve business challenges. Rapidly adapt research methods to meet the evolving demands of a dynamic datadriven environment.
- Innovate with Model Development and Optimization:Address complex problems through advanced model development selection and optimization. Leverage a thorough understanding of model evaluation hyperparameter tuning and bias mitigation to ensure highquality fair and effective solutions that enhance business outcomes.
- Conduct Research to Drive Strategic Insights:Design and execute rigorous studies that yield strategic insights integrating research into actionable frameworks. Develop novel methodologies and frameworks that directly inform datadriven decisionmaking and align with key business priorities.
Basic Requirements:
- Onsite working at the ML physical office 5days per week required
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Masters) plus 4 years of nonacademic professional experience OR Bachelors degree with 7 years of professional experience
- Proficiency in Python or R (both preferred)
- SQL expertise
- Strong background in statistical methods including: Regression analysis Model testing Logistic regression Generalized Linear Models (GLM) and Solid understanding of statistics and random variables
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with one or more advanced machine learning techniques:
- Gradient Boosting Machines (GBM)
- Kmeans clustering
- Neural Networks
- Support Vector Machines (SVMs)
- Bayesian Networks
- Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as: TensorFlow Scikitlearn PyTorch and Keras
Other Characteristics:
- Team player and proven relationshipbuilder
- Strong interpersonal skills high level of professionalism and integrity
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Experience handling multiple responsibilities tasks and projects in a fastpaced environment preferred

Expected Compensation: (Dependent upon Experience)
Data Scientist Fixed CTC: 24.5 LPA 28 LPA
Sr. Data Scientist Fixed CTC: 30 LPA 34 LPA
Work Environment:
We offer a mix of inoffice and hybrid working. Hybrid remote work arrangements are not available for all positions. Please refer to the job posting detail to determine what inoffice requirements apply. Where applicable hybrid WFH days work must be conducted from your home office located in a jurisdiction in which Madison Logic has the legal right to operate. WFH requires availability and responsiveness on a fulltime basis from a distraction free environment with access to highspeed internet. Please inquire for more details.
Pay Transparency/Equity:
We are committed to paying our team equitably for their work commensurate with their individual skills and experience. Salary Range and additional compensation including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay are determined by a rigorous review process taking into account the experience education certifications and skills required for the specific role equity with similarly situated team members as well as employerverified regionspecific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner.
