Executive Director Naaleh: The Hub for Leadership Learning
Naaleh: The Hub for Leadership Learning seeks a relationshiporiented professional to lead the organizations critical work of developing volunteer and professional leaders to guide the greater Baltimore Jewish community.
The Organization
By delivering highquality impactful programs and resources for volunteers and professionals Naaleh fulfills its commitment to grow effective leadership for and within the Jewish community. Talented Jewish leadership is essential for navigating the complexities of our world by providing stability and direction while emphasizing a Jewish moral compass to guide our community forward.
Naaleh equips professionals and volunteers with the skills and inspiration to lead boldly. Our dynamic approach not only strengthens individuals but elevates the entire Jewish community ensuring a legacy of leadership for generations to come.
Naaleh is a fiveyearold organization that is a merger of successful leadershipfocused institutions. With an operating budget of nearly $1M and a team of four dedicated professionals Naaleh is an innovative communitybased organization devoted to Jewish leadership development. Now entering its sixth year and having completed its initial phase as a merged entity Naaleh is ready to grow and expand its presence and impact in the Baltimore Jewish community.

The Position
We seek an inspiring collaborative individual with a proven track record of excellent leadership and deep relational skills to become the next Executive Director and advance the goals and mission of Naaleh.
What You Will Do
Broaden Engagement
- Engage the organizations Board in deep and meaningful ways to grow the base of support and direction for Naaleh
- Build and leverage partnerships by collaborating with strategic partners to advance organizational goals efficiently and effectively
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders funders professionals and community leaders
- Design inspiring evidencebased approaches to meeting the needs of various leaders
- Develop a culture of belonging that celebrates diversity
- Access a widerange of expertise from across our community
Expand and Enhance Services and Resources
- Guide the development of highquality relevant programming informed by Jewish values
- Advance existing programming to support highlevel lay leaders cohortbased opportunities signature programs and workshops together with communities of practice programs and learning opportunities for professionals
- Develop new offerings that deepen leadership abilities
- Expand skillsbased training for lay and professional leaders
- Provide multidimensional resources for leaders to learn and grow
Strengthen Naalehs brand
- Develop the organizations identity in a compelling and relevant way for our community and beyond
- Communicate with clarity Naalehs mission and values
- Understand the needs of various constituencies
Foster Operational Excellence
- Develop the financial resources needed for Naaleh to grow and thrive
- Ensure effective marketing and communication strategies to grow Naalehs role and presence in the community
- Implement databased systems to provide continuous feedback into Naalehs goals and programming
- Successfully manage financial systems
- Cultivate and lead an effective collaborative and vibrant professional team
- Nurture an engaged experienced highperforming board

You will also have
- Bachelors degree required; masters degree preferred
- High level of Jewish knowledge and culture
- Proficiency in the field of leadership training
- Experience working with and serving on nonprofit boards and committees
- Knowledge of professional growth and development
- Executivelevel supervisory experience
- 1015 years of workrelated experience
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and ability to leverage new media
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms
- An enthusiasm for living in Baltimore
Compensation
Salary Range:Starting salary $150000 commensurate with experience
