Medical Billing Specialist
Location:2491 Industrial Court Highland IL 62249
ApexNetwork Physical Therapy is looking for a passionate Medical Billing Specialist to join our team! Key Responsibilities:
- Work individually and as a team to work through the billing cycle for all of ApexNetwork PTs locations!
- Billing team members work with account auditing payment posting accounts receivable and patient billing
- Adequately answer patient questions including providing a benefit review
- Perform electronic and paper billing
- Handle phone calls professionally and with courtesy
- Collaborate with team members to problem solve and achieve team goals
- Understand Apex protocol and become proficient with our software systems
- Experience in medical or dental billing is preferred
- High attention to detail
- Ability to remainorganized under deadlines
- Investigative nature
- Passion and dedication to personal growth and the growth of Apex
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
