Responsibilities :
To aid in the manufacture and shipment of quality iron castings by means of assisting plant supervision and operational personnel in performing their jobs; to provide necessary cleaning sweeping mopping buffing and waxing services; to remove garbage and waste materials from the plant as required.
To know and follow at all reliability procedures process control requirements testing procedures and job description cards as they relate to the work being performed.
To know and follow at all times proper safety procedures and to wear the prescribed safety equipment as they relate to the work performed.
To report neatly and accurately work performed findings or results of inspections and time and materials used in completion of assigned work.
To maintain work area in neat and clean condition and assure that materials and tools are returned to proper storage and all waste and debris is removed upon completion of assigned work.
To report immediately to their Supervisor any injury unsafe act or condition or any failure or impending failure of plant equipment.
To perform other related duties as assigned by their Supervisor / Management.
To perform their duties in such a manner as to assure the uninterrupted operation of the facility and the continuation of the Victaulic as a clean safe place of employment.
HOURS OF OPERATION: Work 1stShift. Shift times are subject to change.
OVERTIME: Employees must be willing and available to work overtime on a ongoing basis if needed. Refusal to work mandatory overtime is considered a voluntary quit. Overtime will paid for all hours worked in excess of forty hours in any one week. Refusal to work as needed is considered a voluntary quit.
