As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular ICU you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and efficient care to patients in urgent medical situations. Utilizing your expertise critical thinking and communication skills you will be instrumental in assessing diagnosing and coordinating care to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients during their time of need.

Essential Functions:

  1. Patient/Family Centered Care: Utilize the nursing process to deliver compassionate care placing patients and their families at the center of every decision. Conduct thorough assessments develop nursing diagnoses identify outcomes plan interventions and coordinate care to promote optimal health and wellbeing in accordance with the policies of WFBH.
  2. Safe Therapeutic and Healing Environment: Create a secure and healing environment by safeguarding patient privacy and ensuring responsive respectful accepting and professional behavior. Embrace technology and equipment to enhance patient and staff safety.
  3. Effective Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication skills to foster collaboration among the healthcare team facilitating information sharing throughout the continuum of care. Active participation in our professional practice model and shared governance initiatives will promote teamwork leadership and clinical excellence.
  4. Professional Growth and Accountability: Function effectively in a professional setting by actively participating in peer review professional development and adherence to care standards. Exhibit effective team skills autonomous practice and critical thinking acknowledging accountability for actions.
  5. Patient Advocacy: Act as a passionate patient advocate throughout the continuum of care advocating for their needs and preferences in all patient settings including the community.
  6. Care Management and Clinical Prioritization: Coordinate the effective and efficient delivery of patient care services by applying care management principles. Identify clinical priorities and initiate action to continuously improve patient outcomes.
