Job Description
We are searching for right fit Operators to run stateoftheart Aluminum Extrusion Presses. Experience is preferred but not necessary.
Duties:Including but not limited to:
- Prioritize safety by adhering to established processes remaining vigilant maintaining focus staying organized and promptly reporting any irregularities or nonconformities in equipment or personnel.
- Receive and execute daily schedules provided by the Extrusion Manager and Shift Supervisor.
- Ensure correct alloys are set up for each tool according to work orders.
- Verify and input accurate die recipes.
- Assist in loading the appropriate tooling into presses as specified in work orders.
- Facilitate efficient and effective tooling changes.
- Input recipe information into presses.
- Conduct spot checks on dimensions both pre and postsaw for finished products.
- Operate and monitor extrusion presses according to provided recipes.
- Promptly notify the Extrusion Supervisor of any concerns during production runs.
- Perform spot checks on the stretch process as outlined in recipes and print tolerances.
- Collaborate with the Head Stretch and Supervisor regarding potential process adjustments.
- Conduct spot checks on the saw process as per recipe and work orders.
- Communicate with Saw Operators and Supervisors regarding potential process adjustments.
- Utilize precision tools such as calipers micrometers squares protractors and applicable gonogo gauges as instructed in recipes and training.
- Continuously assess process efficiency against expected recipe standards and inform supervisors if adjustments are necessary.
- Input information to advance work orders for processing.
- Attend pre or postproduction meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience is preferred but not necessary.
- Demonstrate integrity leadership and controlled intensity while approaching tasks with a solutionoriented mindset.
- Utilize strong math skills and attention to detail to achieve results efficiently.
- Apply objective decisionmaking and effective communication within a team environment.
- Exhibit dependability openness to feedback and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities.
