Job Description
Position Title: Full Time School Bus Driver
Location(s):
CICS Bucktown
Reports To: Transportation Coordinator / School Principal
F.T.E.: 1.0 Regular Full Time
Salary: $42029 or commensurate with experience
Start Date: Winter 2025 or School Year

Position Overview:
We are seeking a PartTime School Bus Driver who will play an important role in ensuring students arrive safely at school ready to learn and explore.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely pick up and drop off students along established routes.
Transport students and staff to special events such as field trips or sporting events.
Provide route coverage and transportation support across schools when needed.
Must be reasonably expected to travel of up to 100 miles and remain seated in a behindthewheel position for extended periods of time.
Maintain flexibility to work a split shift including morning and afternoon routes and occasional trips in between.
Assist School Principal with various tasks around the school if transportation is not scheduled
What Were Looking For:
Certifications: CDL A or B required with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements plus a School Bus Permit (SBP).
Strong driving skills a clean driving record and the ability to pass a physical and DOT drug screening.
A professional reliable and positive presence with students families and school staff.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Candidate must have HS Diploma or equivalent.
Must possess the physical ability to do all required work of the position.
