As a Senior Lead Software Engineer within the Commercial and Investment Bank Electronic Trading Services team at JPMorgan Chase you will play a crucial role in an agile team dedicated to enhancing building and delivering marketleading technology products in a secure stable and scalable manner. Your technical expertise and problemsolving skills will promote significant business impact and tackle a diverse range of challenges across multiple technologies and applications. As a part of the Jisu team in Electronic Trading Technology you will have the opportunity to apply your experience as a C developer in our ultralow latency direct market access team. This global team with members in New York London Hong Kong Tokyo and Mumbai has developed inhouse ultralow latency connectivity and risk management applications for both external and internal clients.
The Jisu team in Electronic Trading Technology is looking for an experienced C developer to join our ultralow latency direct market access team.
We are a global team with members in New York London Hong Kong Tokyo and Mumbai. Our team has developed inhouse ultralow latency connectivity and risk management applications for both external and internal clients.
As a member of the team you will be participating in various stages SDLC of JPMorgan Electronic Trading services. In this role you will the design develop test and productize the functional requirements for Market Access and Risk Management systems.
Job responsibilities
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams contractors and vendors
- Develops secure and highquality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Drives decisions that influence the product design application functionality and technical operations and processes
- Serves as a functionwide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks tools and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Influences peers and project decisionmakers to consider the use and application of leadingedge technologies
- Adds to the team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Handson practical C experience delivering system design application development testing and operational stability
- Proficiency in C on Unix/Linux operating systems
- Scripting skills to automate daytoday development and testing tasks
- Excellent understanding of software and hardware interaction
- Creating and automating Test Strategies/Test Plans based on functional Testing and nonfunctional requirements and Executing them
- Expertise in application data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Strong computer science fundamentals such as multithreading objectoriented development
- Working closely with various teams including Application Development Business Analyst & Operations
- BS degree preferably in Computer Science / Engineering or similar degree.
- Low Latency Design and Development: They have experience in designing and developing low latency applications using C and C
- Linux Environment: They have experience in configuring testing and integrating C applications into a Linux environment
- Design develop test and support various Market Access trading and risk management module in C/C
- Working knowledge of FIX protocol
