We are seeking a Senior GCP Data & Analytics Engineer to lead the development of our cuttingedge cloud analytics platforms. This role is pivotal in driving our data strategy enabling datadriven decisionmaking across the organization. You will utilize your skill set to analyze and transform large datasets support Enabling Platforms and Analytics in GCP and ensure our data infrastructure meets expanding business needs.
Responsibilities
What youll do...
- Lead collaboration with stakeholders and crossfunctional teams to gather and define complex data requirements ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Architect and implement sophisticated ETL pipelines ensuring efficient data integration into BigQuery from diverse batch and streaming sources with a focus on Supply Chain IT solutions.
- Design build and optimize advanced data models to support comprehensive business intelligence and analytics. Hands on experience is a must.
- Spearhead the development and maintenance of data ingestion and analytics pipelines using cuttingedge tools and technologies including Python SQL and DBT/Dataform.
- Ensure the highest standards of data quality and integrity across all data processes.
- Data workflow management using Astronomer and Terraform for cloud infrastructure promoting best practices in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Lead the creation of interactive dashboards and reports using QlikSense providing strategic insights and data visualization.
- Conduct thorough data mapping impact analysis root cause analysis and document data lineage to support robust data governance.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for data engineering processes promoting knowledge sharing and system maintainability.
- Utilize GCP monitoring tools to proactively address performance issues and ensure system resilience while providing expert production support.
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team members on data transformation initiatives championing data utility within the enterprise.
Qualifications
Youll have...
- Bachelors degree in Data Science Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- 5 years of experience in designing and implementing largescale data warehouses ETL processes & complex SQL development
- 3 years of experience in programming languages such as Python Java.
- 2 years of expertise in GCP with a focus on managing cloud infrastructure and deploying productionscale solutions.
- Indepth knowledge of tools such as BigQuery Airflow Cloud Run DBT and DevOps tools like Tekton GitHub Terraform and Docker.

- Masters degree
- Professional Certification in GCP (e.g. Professional Data Engineer) is highly desirable.
- Experience working with Apache Beam.
- Demonstrated leadership experience including mentoring and coaching data engineering teams.
- Strong expertise in project management tools such as Atlassian JIRA.
- Experience in ensuring data security governance and compliance in cloud environments.
- Exceptional problemsolving skills and a proactive strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage with senior management and crossfunctional teams.
- Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous environments managing multiple priorities with a focus on delivering highimpact results.
