Job Description
At Roblox we are redefining how people connect and play in immersive 3D through safe & civil digital worlds and enabling creators and brands to build on the limitless possibilities of our platform. As a Sr. Product Designer at Roblox you will play a crucial role in crafting the design strategy and UX for userfacing productswith a particular focus on systemic design thinking. Working collaboratively with product managers designers and engineers youll help craft compelling narratives and user experiences across our platform.
Youll contribute to the development of cohesive engaging content that improves our players creators and brands experiences. This role is focused on driving design at the product level improving product flows features language frameworks and navigation across various platforms and contributing to process improvements. Youll have the opportunity to work with crossfunctional teams and influence the design language of Roblox making a real impact in crafting the future of our platform as we scale to 1 billion users.
You Will:
- Build a cohesive usercentric experience that creators and developers can use across multiple surfaces including mobile desktop console and VR
- Build systemic design solutions that promote consistency and coherence across Robloxs various platforms
- Improve economy and ads flows in the platform that maximize monetization without degrading the user experience
- Define the components patterns and templates used to drive economy features across the company. Directly contribute to Foundation guidelines and tools for other designers to use
- Own endtoend feature design by defining developing prototyping and documenting design requirements
- Build UX expertise across desktop mobile and console products
- Ensure a consistent user experience across the Roblox platform
You Have:
- 5 years of proven experience in product design UX writing product strategy or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design workwith particular focus on platform systems
- Experience collaborating with and influencing a variety of crossfunctional peers and stakeholders (e.g. product managers data scientists product designers researchers engineers policy localization communications and marketing)
- A solid understanding of UX principles information architecture and usercentered design.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly present your work to stakeholders..
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work in a fastpaced evolving environment.
