Job Description

Must have:(candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)

  • Willingness to learn specialty patient mobilization skills.
  • Willingness to learn and complete rehabilitationspecific documentation (realtime training resource provided).
  • Good attention to detail; willingnessto be coached regarding rehabilitation and other required documentation.

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)Experience with the following:

  • Patients in the neurological cardiac and/or orthopedic adult populations.
  • Inpatient (acute) rehabilitation.
  • Longterm acute care (LTACH) nursing.

Specialty/Unit Certifications Required:(RN/LVN/Tech)

  • BLS

Procedures performed on unit:

  • Indwelling and straight urinary catheterization peripheral IV insertions blood administration central line dressing changes wound dressing changes as ordered; surgical drain removal; suture/staple removal; other medicalsurgical nursing procedures as ordered.

Patient Experience Required:

  • Prefer 2 years ofexperiencein an inpatient hospital medicalsurgical stepdown critical careorinpatient rehabilitation nursing.
  • Experience in neurological cardiac and/or orthopedic nursing.

Must be able to pass Drug Screen
Must be able to pass Background Check
36hr Work Week
Night Shift 12 hr days
Every other weekend
