Description
As the Engineering Manager at AC by Marriott Hotel Southbank ideally you have worked in hotels before with experience managing and motivating a small team and the ability to communicate effectively with hotel owners senior management contractors and guests alike.
Position Summary:
- Manage the Daytoday system operation and maintenance routines of the property
- Oversee all preventative maintenance repairs feeling empowered to make an impact
- Liaise with contractors suppliers and likeminded people for equipment and relationship building
- Be a dynamic and thoughtful leader by empowering and supporting your team through general operational tasks
- Actively identify conduct and manage repairs to the building and equipment
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
- Oversee building & service standards and identify and implement improvement initiatives showcasing your creativity and innovation skills
- Be the main point of contact for all external & internal clients for the Engineering department
- Ensure you and the team uphold all company policies and procedures whilst demonstrating the Marriott core values
About You:
- Relevant managerial experience in general maintenance property maintenance in hotels facilities residential or commercial.
- Working rights in Australia
