Lake Forest High School is seeking a Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach for the spring 2025 season.

Description:The Varsity Assistant Coach will organize coordinate and promote under the direction of the Varsity Head Baseball Coach while carrying out the LFHS Mission Statement and Philosophy of the Athletic Department.

The Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach will provide effective baseball instruction and overall program management demonstrate leadership that will ensure a positive learning environment for studentathletes and will stress the importance of educational based athletics as a top priority. The Assistant Coach will demonstrate a high degree of ethics professionalism human relations and be a positive role model for all studentathletes.

Qualifications:All coaches in an IHSA sport must hold a current Illinois Teaching Certificate registered in Lake County ASEP certificate (American Sport Education Program) or have completed an approved National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) coaching certification program. Coaches must maintain current AED/CPR certification and meet all IHSA coaching certification annual requirements.

Prior experience playing and coaching baseball is preferred.
