Job Description

The Supply Chain Lead will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain function including supply and demand planning logistics management procurement exports and customer service.


Key Responsibilities:
Supply & Demand Planning:
  • Develop and implement robust supply and demand planning processes.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management to meet market demand.
  • Collaborate with sales marketing and production teams to align forecasts with business objectives.
Logistics Management:
  • Oversee the logistics and distribution operations to ensure timely and costeffective delivery of products.
  • Manage relationships with logistics partners negotiate contracts and optimize transportation routes.
  • Monitor and improve warehousing and distribution processes to enhance efficiency.
Production Scheduling with MRP:
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet demand forecasts and customer orders.
  • Utilize MRP systems to ensure the efficient use of materials labor and equipment.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve any scheduling conflicts.
Exports:
  • Manage the export operations ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers freight forwarders and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth export processes.
  • Develop strategies to expand the companys presence in international markets.
Customer Service:
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining effective communication and resolving issues promptly.
  • Implement customer service best practices to enhance the customer experience.
  • Monitor customer feedback and develop action plans to address any concerns.
Leadership and Team Development:
  • Lead mentor and develop the supply chain team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Set performance objectives conduct regular evaluations and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Promote collaboration and crossfunctional teamwork within the organization.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and implement best practices to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Utilize data analysis and performance metrics to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in supply chain management within the FMCG industry with a focus on supply and demand planning logistics procurement and exports.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of driving operational excellence and leading highperforming teams.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
  • Indepth knowledge of international trade regulations and export processes.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
