Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Receives picklists for kitting production orders and parts order deliveries from planning. Picks parts from inventory locations specified on picklist and when necessary performs light assembly and kitting work on parts. Finish packages parts and either stage parts for shipment or stock parts in specific kit inventory location. Performs basic issuing confirming and stocking material transactions in SAP. Prioritizes the work orders based on Commitment dates and customer needs.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick parts for both kits and parts order deliveries from inventory locations specific on picklists
  • Assemble materials into a kit and finish package material.
  • Physical stock in specified inventory location
  • Complete transactions in SAP to ensure material is properly placing in inventory in SAP at the specified inventory location.
  • Stage picked pats for shipment.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Excellent time management is imperative for a shipping clerk.
  • Basic Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel) Basic SAP skills
  • Proficient understanding of safety practices within operations.
  • A selfstarter who is solutions driven with the ability to produce results.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach and continuous improvement mindset.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Prior SAP Experience
  • High School Diploma with 1 year of related experienced in shipping department preferably in manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to handle internal/external customer communication.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time and operate machinery and/or lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to kneel bend stoop walk or work in high precarious places. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision depth perception color vision and ability to adjust focus. PPE is required.

While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and equipment of various sizes. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes and airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Anticipated salary range for this position: $42300/yr to $59400/yr. The anticipated salary range is what we believe to be the likely base salary range for this position at the time of posting. Actual salary for this position will depend on relevant qualifications skills and experience
