An exciting new opportunity has been made available for a Band 8a or Band 8b Lead Practitioner Psychologist to join our esteemed clients dynamic team in Wigan Lancashire. This role is best suited for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a shortterm contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates.
What will your responsibilities be
We are looking for a Lead Practitioner Psychologist with strong CBT and motivational interviewing practice who not only possess expertise in their work within drug and alcohol services but have a passion for developing skills and supporting and supervising others in the delivery of psychologically informed work. You will be a compassionate and empathetic individual with the ability to connect quickly with the people we support. You will receive regular clinical supervision and professional support from a more senior Practitioner Psychologist in substance use and will be in a supportive environment where you will be encouraged to develop your clinical skills as well as providing an opportunity to develop leadership skills making a difference beyond your own individual practice.
