Security Guard Supervisor at Regal Security Inc.
Position: Full time Permanent
Location: Mississauga Ontario
Salary: $25 per hour 30 hours a week

Responsibilities:
- Team Oversight: Ensure security teams follow company policies procedures and safety protocols.
- Training: Provide new guards with onthejob training clarifying roles responsibilities and emergency protocols.
- Monitoring: Watch surveillance alarms and access systems for breaches or suspicious activity.
- Patrols: Regularly patrol premises to deter security threats and maintain visibility.
- Emergency Plans: Create and share response plans for fires emergencies and breaches.
- Emergency Coordination: Manage emergency responses prioritizing safety of staff and property.
- Reporting: Document incidents accurately and promptly maintaining detailed logs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain thorough records of daily tasks and incidents.
- Client Communication: Regularly interact with clients to address security needs and concerns.
- Updates: Keep clients informed about security operations and incidents.
- Evaluations: Evaluate guards performance offering feedback and improvement areas.
- Training: Identify training needs and growth opportunities for security staff.
- Regulation Knowledge: Stay current with securityrelated laws and regulations.
- Compliance: Ensure security practices adhere to legal requirements and industry standards.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle conflicts calmly among guards and the public.
- Deescalation: Implement strategies for tense situations maintaining security.
- Improvement: Identify ways to enhance security operations through technology and process.
Qualifications:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
1 year to less than 2 years
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively
Knowledge of security systems and equipment
Must be able to work flexible hours and be available for oncall duty
