Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Provide outpatient care for illness injury minor surgical needs and emotional concerns. Perform physical examinations such as athletic preparticipation physicals and preventive gynecologic exams. Work cooperatively and effectively with nurse practitioners/physician assistants on staff. Appropriately refer to outside consultants. Maintain and complete medical records in a timely fashion. Attend administrative conferences inservice and continuing education programs. Act as a consultant for student health promotions research projects and academic courses when requested. Accept other assignments as delegated by the Director or Medical Director.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimal Qualifications required: Active medical practice (BE/BC) in Family Practice Pediatrics Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine and eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
Preferred Qualifications
board certification in family medicine internal medicine emergency medicine or pediatrics is required. sports medicine adolescent and/or college health experience is extremely desirable.
