Job Description

As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Chief Data and Analytics Office youll be a key player in our agile team. We work together to enhance build and deliver topnotch technology products securely and efficiently. Job responsibilities
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams contractors and vendors
- Develops secure and highquality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Drives decisions that influence the product design application functionality and technical operations and processes
- Lead the design and development of the cloud infrastructure offerings and platform tools ensuring that they are secure scalable and reliable serve as a functionwide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus and provide technical leadership and guidance to the cloud engineering team.
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks tools and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Influences peers and project decisionmakers to consider the use and application of leadingedge technologies
- Adds to the team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
- Collaborate with development teams to enable the delivery of highquality secure and scalable applications on the cloud
- Identify areas of improvement and prioritize initiatives that align with business goals and objectives
- Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and bring in recommendations for adoption and implementation of new tools/technologies
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements for the cloud
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience
- Handson experience with one or more cloud computing platform providers AWS/Azure/GCP
- Advanced knowledge of Containerization and Container Runtime/Orchestration platforms (Docker/Kubernetes/ECS etc)
- Handson experience with Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning Tools like Terraform Pulumi Crossplane & Cloud Formation etc
- Proficiency with programming languages like Golang Python Java JS/TS etc and understand software development best practices
- Handson experience with logging and monitoring tools Splunk Grafana Prometheus etc
- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices shift left methodologies and DevSecOps processes
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable indepth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Experience in Computer Science Computer Engineering Mathematics or a related technical field
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience implementing multicloud architectures
- Certifications in target areas (Cloud/Kubernetes/IaC etc)
