About the position
Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry. Millions of people around the world use Dometic products in outdoor residential and professional applications. We are on a growth journey now looking for an Inside Sales Specialist for supporting our Hospitality segment in Italy.
As an Inside Sales Specialist in the Hospitality sales team you will be involved in farming and hunting sales projects within the hotel and healthcare business of Dometic.
Your main responsibilities
- Being new business hunter. Regularly and consistently look for new business both in Hospitality and Healthcare markets
- Represent Dometic in discussions (via Video conference Telephone calls etc. with existing accounts other customers and third parties (which includes Furniture Manufacturers Architects purchasing groups construction companies System integrators etc. to name a few) in a professional ethical and efficient manner to create trust long term relationships and a successful business both in Hospitality and Healthcare markets
- of the Defined sales strategy by Direct Sales Manager.
- I.e.: Implementation of the strategy: prospection quotation process pipeline follow up closing deals etc.
- Collaborate with the current and future Distribution Channel optimizing time spent and other resources
- Support Management in the budget process in follow up and forecasting in monthly reports and as otherwise required in a timely manner
- Periodic report to the Sales Manager within the agreed time and manner to inform about
- general progress
- refurbishment and new build projects and activities status
- detailed issues and successes achieved
- Identify new potential partners
- Order satisfaction:
- To contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of orders. (i.e) sending Sales Quotation and followups
- To handle orders by telephone email or mail and they also check that the orders have the correct prices discounts and product numbers and will contact customers to resolve any queries
- To input orders to the companys computer system
- To ensure that orders are processed in line with customers delivery requirements. They inform the customers of any delays and will arrange alternative delivery dates
- Coordination:
- To collaborate with other cross functional departments is an important responsibility for sales coordinators (Supply Chain/ Product Management/ Accounting etc..
- To ensure that the sales and marketing activities are integrated sales coordinators work closely with marketing. Sales coordinators arrange that presentations and supporting material such as technical papers or customer references will be produced to help the sales representatives win business
- To follow up closely with the finance team all account receivables related to France sales transactions
- Sales support:
- HOSP CRM is to be updated and developed at all times and continuously for both segments: Hotels and Healthcare
- They also ensure that the sales reps have enough sales support material such as product brochures or case studies
- Sales coordinators also act as a first point of contact for urgent calls emails and messages when sales representatives are not available
- To follow up sales and marketing activities for both existing hotels and new projects
- To follow up customer invoicing on a daily basis
- To help our B2B HOSP Dealers in Italy with all issues related to quotations prices after sales service and warranty claims in coordination with our Italy After Sales department
- Reporting:
- To maintain sales records as a basis for reports to the senior management team
- HOSP CRM continuous update is a must
- To prepare reports on sales by individual representatives sales by product line and sales to individual customers
- To provide information to the Demand Planning Team department on incoming and completed orders as a basis for forecasting cash flow
- Reporting lines may change if required
