Hardware Engineer / EMC Specialist (m/f/x)

Hardware Engineer / EMC Specialist (m/f/x)
Workplace: 80331 MnchenWhat to expect:
Responsible for leading EMC tasks for the HW/SW team
Collaborating with System SW and Mechanical teams during development phase on EMC topics in order to achieve regulatory approvals
Lead as well as conduct in accredited laboratories precompliance and formal EMC compliance tests according to EN
Identify issues and provide technical solutions in order to achieve the regulatory approval
Be the reference person with the accredited certification bodies concerning EMC certification GAP Assessment regarding new amendments Editions etc
Develop the concept design select components create and maintain electrical drawings and design documentation including but not limited to CAD drawings (schematics and layout) cable and assembly drawings flow and timing functional diagrams technical specifications system and subsystem requirements
Workingon prototype builds analog and digital circuit analysis and troubleshooting and circuit test using laboratory equipment as oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers logic analyzers function generators.
Involved in EMC testing activities and troubleshooting
Conduct engineering testing including test and evaluation methodologies protocols and procedures
Cooperate with Manufacturing and Test engineers to develop testable and easy to manufacture products
What you bring along:
Excellent Knowledge of EU US and international medical standards: IEC 606011 RoHS ISO 14971 ISO 13485
Excellent knowledge of standard IEC/EN and the following tests:Conducted Emissions Radiated EmissionsHarmonics & FlickerSurgeEFTESDRadiated ImmunityConducted Immunity
Independently handle the Change request process
Solid experience with Laboratory equipment
Specific EMC/EMI trainings or certificates are highly appreciated
Familiar with transducer interfacing power supply and microprocessorbased designs
Good knowledge of ECADs as Mentor PADS Altium
Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management tools as Polarion
Electronic systems schematic interpretation electrical circuit design electrical cable design equipment troubleshooting and repair.
