Job Description

About the Role:

This person will be based at a facility that operates within the Lyondell plant near Channelview TX. There are 9 people at this particular unit a manufacturing unit that makes an intermediate chemical used in jet/aviation fuel. This is a role for someone who likes technical work and who likes to wear a lot of hats (production support optimization safety leadership) transparently there isnt much advancement potential here; the role reports to the plant manager and there is one other chemical engineer onsite. This role will serve as acting plant manager in a variety of situations and definitely have a leadership presence at the facility.

Minimum Requirements:

B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering required
10 years of chemical manufacturing experience working in PSMregulated facilities ideally in continuous processing
