Job Description

The School of Exercise Science and Sport (ESS) in the College of Professional Studies invites applications for Adjunct Instructors for the spring of 2025 and theacademic year.We seek innovative candidates who can contribute to the educational mission of the School of Exercise Science and Sport. Candidates will have opportunities to instruct students in the Exercise Science Physical Education and Sport and Recreation Management undergraduate programs and potentially in the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Teach courses as assigned by the school director.
  • Maintain regular office hours to assist students.Respond in a timely fashion to student correspondence including student emails.
  • Assess student performance.
  • Maintain a professional attitude with all students faculty and staff.


Qualifications for the position include:

Clinical or academic degree in Exercise Science Physical Education Sport and Recreation Management or Athletic Training.

Masters accepted Doctorate preferred.

Contemporary expertise in one of the ESS areas congruent with areas of teaching.

Postsecondary level teaching experience is preferred.

Professional qualities that advance successful collaboration within the School of Exercise Science and Sport and across the University.
