Pay Range: $300000 $350000 annual base salary

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills training experience education and where applicable certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Hematopathologist Shelton CT

AmeriPath is a leading national provider of anatomic pathology molecular diagnostic and healthcare information services for the detection diagnosis evaluation and treatment of cancer and other medical conditions. AmeriPath has over 400 highly trained boardcertified pathologists and Ph.D.level scientists providing services to physicians hospitals clinical laboratories and ambulatory surgery centers across the United States.

AmeriPath is currently seeking a Hematopathologist for our AmeriPath Northeast growing laboratory in Shelton CT where opportunities for growth exist. This position will be responsible for Hematopathology as part of the greater Quest Diagnostics Esoteric Business Unit.

There are currently seven pathologists and three cytogenetics PhDs that sit in Shelton. The new pathologist will be reporting directly to the Medical Director.

Requirements:

• Required: MD or DO degree
• Board Certified in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology
• Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology Pathology
• Both fellows and experienced pathologists are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication skills

• Must hold or be able to obtain valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in Connecticut and ability to obtain other state licenses as needed.

Shelton is located in Fairfield County Connecticut. Shelton and the surrounding towns offer a suburban lifestyle while being close to New York and other major cities. The region has excellent schools restaurants coastline and a variety of cultural attractions.
