Job Description
We have an immediate opening for aTool Room Technician (Day shift 12 hour 232 rotating schedule)Direct Hire opportunity!

Tool Room Technician:
Maintain repair and troubleshoot plastic injection molds in order to meet production requirements and molded part quality. Provide support to other departments to improve performance and efficiency of the process.
Job Duties:
Repair modify and service high precision plastic injection molds and related tooling. Operate Tool Room machines including mills grinders lathes drill presses etc.
Study blueprints to determine material dimensions required equipment and operations sequences. Provide support to other departments in order to resolve quality and production problems. Maintain parts inventory work order entry and other data entry tasks accurately. Record specifications production operations and final dimensions of tools for use in establishing operating standards and procedures.
Protect intellectual property and confidential information. Other related duties as assigned
Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards Health and Safety Requirements Continuous Improvement and standard work procedures.
Education/Technical/Required Skills:
High School
Must be fluent in English
Mold Repair Minimum 3 years
Tool Room machines including mills grinders lathes EDM Minimum 3 years
Mold troubleshooting skills
Ability to polish cores and cavities
Preferred Skills:
Welding Minimum 2 years
Working in an injection molding production environmentTool Room Minimum 3 years
Proficient in Scientific Injection Molding principles
Basic computer skills Ability to read blueprints Experience using an overhead crane for mold installation
Run EDM Machine make electrodes
Direct Hire $28.00/hour $58240 (Negotiable depending on skill) Bonus Great Benefits please call for exact details
