Job Description

Position Overview:
Responsible for requirements definition development coding integration verification and validation of software controlled hardware for custom functional test systems used for product testing.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Learn the fundamentals to create custom functional test systems
  • Learn verification and validation software and gain experience in coding
Primary Responsibilities:
  • PC Upgrades
  • Responsible to upgrade production test systems currently running MS Windows 8.1 to IT supported Windows 10
  • Reinstall all test software and associated files and drivers
  • Validate Test System before release back to production
  • Responsible to upgrade production test systems currently running unsupported MS Windows 10 to IT supported Windows 10
  • Reinstall all test software and associated files and drivers
  • Validate Test System before release back to production
Mentor:Test Engineering Team

Requirements:

Sparton interns must meet the following criteria:
  • Active pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Current class standing of sophomore or above 30 credits).
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work onsite in De Leon Springs FL
Travel Requirement:N/A

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit stand talk and communicate use hands/finger feel and reach with arms. This position requires the ability to lift bend or stoop as necessary up to 20 lbs.
