Internship Program

At Five9 we are committed to providing an exceptional experience for our interns. We tailor our program to provide participants with real impactful work contributing directly to the continued success of Five9. Through our Speaker Series Intern Buddies Employee Resource Groups and other events youll have the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the best in the business.

This is a fulltime paid internship based out of our headquarters in San Ramon CA. The program runs 11 weeks with the opportunity to start in early or midJune.

I have always been very careeroriented and this summer Ive realized how important it is to also focus on other aspects of my life. Meeting different employees at Five9 and hearing their career trajectory made me realize that everything will work out eventually and to take my time exploring my interests. However that doesnt mean I will halt all career goals. I plan to continue networking with industry professionals and building my knowledge on using different data analytics tools. Responsibilities

• Process Analytics: Collaborate with our team to identify and surface controls buried within our current business processes gaining an understanding of the intricacies and scope of our operations.
• Innovative Problem Solving: Use analytical skills to identify regulatory compliance requirements and distill these obligations to their intent.
• Process and Control Redesign: Assist in designing and implementing new streamlined business processes controls policies and the implementation of these controls so that deliver real value
• Collaborative Projects: Partner with experienced managers and other stakeholders to ensure that solutions align perfectly with business goals user needs and regulatory requirements.
• Governance and Compliance: Support the implementation of robust business governance and control measures focusing on data governance security and privacy to align with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Qualifications

• Rising college senior or above pursuing a degree or masters degree in Business Administration Communications Political Science Legal Finance or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate insights and complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in using analytical tools and familiar with process mapping and design methodologies.
• Awareness of the significance of governance frameworks and controls in ensuring compliance and effectively managing enterprise risks.
• Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment collaborating with diverse crossfunctional teams.
• Must be able to work out of the San Ramon CA headquarters this summer.
